Manufacturer’s manual (generic for all MULTI pond pump models):

SAFETY STANDARDS:

Check that the voltage recorded on the pump corresponds to the mains voltage. The apparatus shall be powered through a differential switch (life-saving), whose rated current shall be less than or equal to 30mA. Pond pumps can operate in “Wet&Dry” mode (submerged or out of water, with the exception of model 800 which operates only in submerged in water). The pump must not be operated dry or with liquids whose temperature exceeds 95F/35°C! Before carrying out any work on the pump, the power supply must always be disconnected. It is not possible to replace the pump power cable, so if it is damaged, the unit will have to be demolished. This product complies with current safety standards.

INSTALLATION:

Place the pump taking care that the cable is routed in an area where it will not be damaged.

Mod. 800 The water flow rate is regulated by means of the corresponding regulating element mounted both on the model with front panel and on the model with elongated pre-chamber. The pump is prepared to be coupled to 1/2″ pipes and possible fittings.

Mod. 1300 (front panel version). The pump is threaded on the delivery side only and can be fitted with commercially available 1/2″ fittings and accessories. On the suction side, a front panel equipped with an adjustment device allows varying the flow rate and discharge head of the pump.

Mod. 1300 – 2500 – 4000 – 5800 version with elongated pre-chamber. The pump contains suction and delivery threads:

• mod. 1300 of 1/2″ in the drive;
• mod. 4000 3/4″ at the discharge and 1″ at the suction;
• mod. 3000 – 4000 – 5000 – 6000 of 1″ in impulsion and suction;

The thread has a standard GAS (Europe) or MTP (USA) pitch, which allows a wide range of fittings and accessories to be available on the market.

MAINTENANCE:

Mod. 800: Remove the front panel next to the regulating-tube and remove the rotor from the pump body for source. It is advisable to check the condition of the O-ring during each cleaning operation, because if it is damaged, even slightly, it can seriously jeopardize the pump’s performance and must therefore be replaced. Rinse the assembly under running water and use a small brush to remove scale, if any. To reassemble the pump, carry out the same operations but in reverse sequence.

Mod. 1300: First remove the front panel or pre-chamber to remove the rotor from the fountain pump body. Always check the tightness of the O-ring. If it is damaged, even slightly, it can seriously jeopardize the pump’s performance and must be replaced. Rinse the assembly under running water and use a small brush to remove scale, if any. To reassemble the pump, carry out the same operations but in reverse sequence.

Mod. 2500 – 4000 – 5800: Open the pre-chamber by turning the fountain pump counterclockwise. Then remove the rotor from the pump body, taking care not to damage the ceramic shaft and the rubber support washers. Always check the tightness of the O-ring because if it is damaged, even slightly, it can seriously jeopardize the performance of the pump and must be replaced. Rinse the assembly under running water and use a small brush to remove scale, if any. To reassemble the pump, carry out the same operations but in reverse sequence.
